At Coontz Law, we specialize in Michigan criminal defense from Lansing, but not just in Lansing. For all of our cases, we can, will, and do serve the entire State of Michigan. The nice thing about the work we do is that a lot of it can be done from behind our desks. So, even if you have a case in Detroit or your loved one is incarcerated in the UP, we’re ready to take the case. We’ll visit any prison or go to any court if necessary.

We handle federal criminal cases from anywhere in the country. Federal courts allow attorneys from anywhere to be admitted, so we’re able to represent clients regardless of their location. While Michigan is in the Sixth Circuit (where we’re licensed to practice), that doesn’t prevent us from taking on cases in Ohio (also in the Sixth Circuit), California (Ninth Circuit), or Washington D.C. (which has its own circuit). No matter where your case is, we’re ready to fight for your rights.
